A Celebration Is Coming! Sunday, March 4 is going to be a very special day in the life of First Presbyterian, and everyone is invited to the celebration. On this day, the Rev. Dr. Harry Eberts III will be installed as our pastor at a service to be held in the sanctuary at 4 p.m. Following the ceremony, High Tea will be served in Pope Hall. All bakers in the congregation are invited to bake 3–4 dozen homemade cookies, bars, brownies, scones or mini cupcakes for the tea. If you are not a baker and would prefer to help in another way, consider offering to bring homemade candies and mints or mixed nuts. Servers and kitchen helpers will also be needed. Please e-mail or call Jane Stringfellow ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 983-6341) and let her know how you would like to help.

Our Cleaning Coordinator, Rebecca Roybal, has taken another job. We wish her well and thank her for her service. She sends the following message to the congregation:  “Sincere thanks for your gracious acceptance in having been one of the FPCSF team. My time here with each of you has been an enjoyable one. May God bless you today and always.” The Personnel and Facilities Committees are looking to hire one employee to do facility maintenance/custodial work. The salary is competitive with similar positions and the benefits are good, so if you know of someone who would be an excellent addition to the team, please tell them about the position. They can download a position description and application from the church website www.fpcsantafe.org or can call the church office for more information.
