Special Offerings
As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) we partner with the denomination through Special Offerings which make possible ministry in the following areas:

PEACEMAKING: Taken on World Communion Sunday in October, the offering supports peacemaking locally (25%), regionally (25%), and globally (50%) through the General Assembly.

ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING: Taken during the Lent season just before Easter this offering support Disaster Assistance (36%), Hunger Programs (32%) and Self-development of People partnerships (32%) around the nation and the world.

PENTECOST: Taken in late May/early June on Pentecost Sunday, this offering supports witness with children at risk and work with youth and young adults. Locally 60% goes to assist the Juntos program with homeless school children in Santa Fe and 40% is sent to programs of the General Assembly.

CHRISTMAS JOY OFFERING: Taken during Advent or Christmas, the offering supports assistance programs to retired and active church workers in need and supports Presbyterian related racial-ethnic schools and colleges.

Additional Offerings:

Disaster Response: The unknown invites us to participate in care for persons and communities devastated by floods, fires, earthquakes and other natural disasters. These offerings are given locally and globally as needed and requested.

Cuba Partnership: Annually, in partnership with the Presbytery of Santa Fe and a congregation in Sagua La Grande, Cuba, we invite the congregation to share resources to assist in ministry needs in Cuba.
